Hovsco HovGtrs Ultra eBike

The Hovsco HovGtrs Ultra is a moped style eBike capable of up to 150 miles range when equipped with a second battery.

The Ultra is the latest version of the HovGtrs and in addition to the battery changes, there are some stylistic changes as well. To accommodate the second battery, the frame has been redesigned and the main battery is now positioned on the bike’s top tube. The rear suspension has been reworked and the rear rack/grab bar has been removed.

There are now three different battery choices:

• The HovGtrs Evo has a single 48V 15Ah battery promises up to 65 miles range;
• The HovGtrs Pro has an upgraded single 48V 25Ah battery promises up to 100 miles; and
• The HovGtrs Ultra is equipped dual 48V 15Ah + 25Ah batteries, can get up to 150 miles.

The Hovsco HovGtrs Ultra shares the 750w motor (with peal output of 1,500w) with the original HovGtrs and has a top speed of 32mph when unlocked. An LED display shows relevant ride metrics, such as speed, distance, battery level and pedal-assist level.

Shifting is courtesy of a Shimano 1×7 drivetrain and hydraulic disc brakes help the bike stop. Front and rear suspension systems keep the ride smooth. The HovGtrs Ultra rolls on 20-inch wheels with 4-inch eBike-rated tires, provide a smooth, confident ride on sand, snow, gravel, or pavement.

Weighing in at just under 82 pounds, the HovGtrs Ultra can accommodate up to 450 pounds of passenger and cargo weight. 

A moto-style LED headlight helps illuminate the road in front and adds rider visibility, while a taillight in the rear helps keep the rider safe. Front and rear fenders help keep the rider dry and clean.

The Ultra starts at $899 for the smaller single battery and goes up to $1,499 for the dual-battery configuration at hovsco.com.
