The Qronge Lava electric trike is not just ideal for seniors and people with mobility issues, but also makes a good cargo hauler and commuter.

The Lava’s three-wheel step through frame comes in one size and is suitable for most riders between 5’3″ and 6’3″ tall. It’s equipped with a front suspension fork, mechanical disk brakes and 20″x4″ fat tires for stability and comfort. A large leather seat with backrest also ensures a comfortable ride.

As with most eBikes in this class, a Shimano seven speed drivetrain is used for gear shifting. The Lava has five pedal assist modes and utilizes a twist throttle when in pure electric mode. An LCD screen with attached buttons shows relevant ride data such as speed, mileage and battery level.

The Qronge Lava weighs 108 pounds and has a payload capacity of 350 pounds, including the rider. A removable rear cargo basket is also a standard feature.

A 750-watt motor produces peak power of 960 watts and will move the Lava at a to speed of 15 mph. A 36-volt battery, gives the bike a range of up to 50 miles.

A front headlight, rear tail/brake light combo and fenders on all three wheels round out the bike’s features.

The Lava comes 90% pre-assembled with a step-by-step guide, one-year warranty and a U.S.-based customer service team. It’s available in red, gray and light green color schemes and retails for $1,129.99 with free shipping at qronge.com.
