The Lacros Pinecone is a folding eBike that only takes 15 seconds to fold into a compact form, which is perfect for storing in small spaces.

The Pinecone is powered by a 500w motor, which can peak at 1000 watts and move the bike up to 21 mph. A removable 48V Samsung battery provides enough juice for 40-50 miles of range per charge. In terms of water-resistance, the bike is rated with an IPX5 rating, which means it can be sprayed with a hose or get wet from light rain without any harmful effect.

The aluminum frame is outfitted with front and rear suspension and a rear rack that can hold up to 120 pounds. The entire bike weights 69 pounds and as a weight limit of 300 pounds, including rider. Twenty-inch wheels are wrapped in 4-inch fat tires.

The Pinecone has five pedal assist modes and a twist-throttle for electric only mode. An LCD display shows relevant ride data, such as pedal assist mode, speed, miles and more.

On the analog side of the bike, a Shimano 7-speed drivetrain is used for shifting, while mechanical disc brakes provide the stopping power. Front and rear fenders and front and rear lights round out the Pinecone’s feature package.

The Lacros Pinecone is available in black or white colors and is recommended for riders between 5’4″ and 6’5″. It currently retails for $799 at lacrosebike.com.
