Lacros Thunder full-suspension eBike

Lacros Thunder full-suspension Fat tire ebike
By FloridaBicyclist

The Lacros Thunder is a full-suspension, fat tire eBike perfect for off-road adventures. And at less than $1,400 it’s not a drain on the wallet, either.

The Thunder’s 750-watt rear hub motor can put out peak power of 1,400 watts to move the bike up to 28mph, while the UL-certified, 48-volt battery gives it a range of up to 80 miles. A center-mounted LCD display shows relevant ride metrics, such as speed, mileage, battery charge and which of the five pedal-assist modes is active. A twist throttle powers the bike when in pure-electric mode.

On the analog side of the bike, gear shifting is courtesy of the ever-popular Shimano 7-speed drivetrain and stopping is accomplished by hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors.

The full-suspension Aluminum Alloy frame has a weight limit of 400 pounds and is recommended for riders between 5’3″ and 6’3″ tall. The Thunder rolls on 26×4″ all-terrain fat bike tires.

Additional features of the Lacros Thunder include a rear rack, full-coverage front and rear fenders, an LED headlight and tail/brake light combo.

The Thunder weighs 83 pounds and is available in Black or Green color schemes and retails for $1,399 at lacrosebike.com with free shipping and a two-year warranty.
