Ainohot Terra eBike
The Ainohot Terra is an affordable fat tire eBike from Japan’s top eBike brand.
The Terra features a 750-wattt rear-hub motor and 48V/13Ah battery. As a Class 2 eBike, the Terra has a top speed of 20 mph. The removable battery provides enough juice for a range of up to 56 miles.
The Ainhot Terra is built with an aluminum step-thru frame that hosts 26×4-inch fatbike wheels and an oil and spring adjustable front suspension fork. It weighs 68 pounds and has a weight limit of 330 pounds. It is suitable for riders from 5’6″ to 6’3″ tall.
Like most eBikes in this price point, the Terra is equipped with a 7-speed Shimano rear derailleur, Shimano SL-TX50-7R shifter and mechanic disc brakes.
On the electronics side, a handlebar mounted display shows relevant ride data such as speed, pedal-assist level, distance and battery level. The Terra has five pedal assist levels and can also operate in throttle-only mode. In both pedal-assist and throttle mode, the Terra has a top speed of 20 mph.
Other features include a front headlight, bell, and USB port for charging devices on the go. Fenders, and rear cargo rack are not included, but there are plenty of mounting points for accessories.
The Ainhot Terra is available in a step-thru frame an only comes in a black color scheme. It retails for $999 at ainohot.com.
Ainohot has operated in Asia since 2008 and is currently establishing itself in the US with local dealers.
