The HovAlpha fat tire eBike is Hovsco’s entry into the 26×4-inch tire game.

The removable 48-volt battery is concealed inside the HovAlpha’s aluminum frame and can be charged on or off the bike. A 750-watt, rear hub motor produces a peak output of 1,300 watts and can propel the bike to 28 mph. Range is advertised as 60-80 miles per charge.

A backlit LCD screen shows ride metrics such as speed, distance, and pedal assist level and also connects to the Hovsco App, which is available for Apple and Android devices.

On the traditional bike side, the HovAlpha fat tire eBike rolls on 26″ fat bike wheels wrapped in 4-inch eBike rated tires. A 1×7 drivetrain with 14-28 tooth cassette is utilized for gear shifting. For stopping, the HovAlpha uses hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors. A suspension fork with 80mm travel helps knock out bumps in the road. Front and rear fenders are also standard features.
